So my "book/novella/novel" is coming along very poorly these days. I have a good chunk done, but still...writer's block always strikes like lightning upon me!
So I've decided I'm going to utilize this (although back in the day I was anti-blog!) to help sort out my thoughts so I can weed out bullshit in order to get back on track with my writing!
Anyway here's a synopsis of my book...(it's a frighteningly ambiguous synopsis but a synopsis nonetheless!)
A 20-something year old girl is looking back fondly and not so fondly on her high school memories…namely four of her foes that impacted her in so many ways, and even today remnants of her experiences with them remain. The experiences, though detrimental to her, also somehow shed much light on herself as a human being. It tells the story of when after the storm settles and the damage is done, one should not always see things in black and white.
Basically, my main character has become somewhat introspective in her life thus far and is beginning to see her negative experiences from the past as paradoxically enlightening.
I'm so stuck where I am though, and it's frustrating because I'm wrapping up the first chapter! The story is essentially four tales in one.
My main character is kind of extreme, I'm afraid of her being unrealistic. Who knows, I guess I'll be finding out! I need more opinions on my story...only two people have read it thus far.

“The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.”
