The Deep-Rooted Paradoxical Hypocrisy: The Elephant in the Room of Gay Rights/Acceptance

It's "in" to be a hipster right? Absolutely. Thus, we like to think of ourselves, our contemporary, youthful culture as the new bohemians---the beatniks reborn.
So naturally, it's all the rage for many of us to denounce conservatism and tradition and to gravitate more to what is outrageous, what goes against the grain and what appears to be a new age of enlightenment.
Whether it's in our music, movies, television or literature we love our scandal, we love our crazy shit, and we also love raunchiness, sex and adventure.
We like to preach as to how much we are fond of what is different from us, what rejects social norms and colors outside of the lines. What is unfamiliar is attractive right? Many of us may brainwash ourselves into thinking this but the subconscious dictates otherwise.
This is a heterosexual world. If you are LGBT, as comfortable as you are with yourselves, you know it's a heterosexual planet. That's the brutal, excruciating reality.
It's time to shatter this heterosexual paradigm!
More on that later though I have another imperative rant right around the corner.
I kind of lost my train of thought because there was an interruption!
