tentative life plan as of now:
1.make it out of college alive.
2. get my novella published BEFORE i graduate so i can actually, ideally, afford to rent an apartment in West Hollywood.
3. find some teaching job in the L.A. area so i can survive and not be just another starving artist residing there.
4. frequent the lez bars/take many trips to san fran to go women hunting (God, that makes me sound so predatory. Ugh. Not my intention!)
5. meet lots of bisexual and gay people!
6. keep writing and frantically run around to try to get published.
7. try my hand at a screenplay.
8. if i hit some kind of celebrity status, and even if i don't, become an avid advocate for gay rights.
9. do not label yourself solely as a lesbian writer. expand your boundaries! broaden your horizons!
10. if you meet the right woman, start a family. have at least four children.
11. buy a house. somewhere. settle down. stop partying in "the scene."
12. travel the world.
13. become a Creative Writing professor at a major university somewhere.
14. Live in either South Korea, Japan or London for at least a year.
14.5. Be a screenwriter for a television show. I much prefer that, since it's one consecutive episode after another, going on and on as opposed to a mere movie script. way more my cup of tea.
14.6. write/direct a play. and a musical.
15. travel frequently. move often. Live in L.A. area, Northern California on a vineyard, in Boston, NYC, back to Chicago, then of course overseas.
16. get two Scottish terrier puppies and name them Rocco and Ruby---one boy, one girl.
17. do a lot of apeshit crazy shit so you have an overabundance of fabulous anecdotes to tell, always!
