You know what's overrated? Jane Austen. Her writing is so very dense and convoluted. Intricate, twisted, intense. Not much substance, but sure as fuck a load of run on sentences. But she's very endearing. And still, a genius. The first chick-lit writer ever. I detest how "Becoming Jane" falsely portrays her. Fucking Hollywood bullshit.
"Pride and Prejudice" and "Emma" were hard as fuck to get through, and I haven't even touched "Sense and Sensibility"---by then, I had drawn the conclusion that all of her novels are essentially the same. Like Nicholas Sparks. Or Jodi Picoult. Anyway, I laughed out loud at "Pride and Prejudice"---boy, was Austen ahead of her time! Mrs. Bennett is priceless.

I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT TO GET TO SCHOOL AND COLLECT MY THREE SYLVIA BOOKS OF POETRY IN THE MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEN WHEN I'M DONE WITH THAT I'M MOVING ON TO DICKINSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
